The Connected Human LLC (“The Connected Human,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to theconnectedhuman.com and the experiences we offer through it.

Information You Provide

  • When you take the assessment: your email address and your responses.
  • When you enroll or check out: your name, email address, phone number, and payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.
  • When you join a waitlist or sign up to stay connected: your email address.
  • Your communication preferences, including the promotional-email opt-in or opt-out you select at checkout.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Privacy-preserving analytics about how the site is used — such as pages viewed, the referring site, and general device or browser type — collected through Plausible Analytics. This is cookieless and does not track you across other websites or build an advertising profile.
  • Engagement with our emails, such as whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked, which helps us understand what is useful and improve what we send.

How We Use Your Information

  • Deliver your assessment results and the related email sequence.
  • Communicate with you about enrollment, sessions, and your participation.
  • Send news and promotional emails where you have opted in (see below).
  • Send SMS session reminders where you have provided your number (see below).
  • Process payments and manage enrollment.
  • Understand site and email engagement so we can improve the experience.
  • Meet our legal, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.

Promotional Emails

During checkout you may choose to opt in to receive news and promotional emails from us. We collect and use the contact information you provide — including information collected through Stripe Checkout — to send these communications, and we send promotional emails based on the opt-in or opt-out selection you make at checkout. This may include information collected from prospective customers who begin checkout or visit our pages but do not complete a purchase. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Stripe processes checkout information as our service provider and not as an independent controller of your data. Stripe’s own privacy disclosures are linked within every Checkout session.

SMS Reminders

If you provide your phone number at checkout, we use it to send text-message reminders for your scheduled sessions. Message frequency varies by session schedule, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate, and only as needed to provide our services:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — email delivery and engagement measurement.
  • Airtable and Zapier — securely storing and routing the information above.
  • Plausible Analytics — privacy-preserving site analytics.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and network security.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Analytics & Cookies

We keep our use of cookies minimal. Our analytics provider, Plausible, is cookieless and does not store cookies on your device or collect personal information for advertising. Stripe may set cookies that are necessary to process payments and prevent fraud during checkout.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your Choices & Rights

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
  • Reply STOP to any reminder to opt out of SMS.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
  • Ask questions about how your information is handled.

Children’s Privacy

This site and our offerings are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and any significant changes will be reflected here.
